Day 1: Arrival – Pinnawala – Kandy

Ayubowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka. Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your World Travel Centre representative before travelling to Kandy. En route, visit the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Upon arrival, explore the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic before enjoying a colourful Kandyan cultural dance and fire walking performance in the evening.

Day 2: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, journey through Sri Lanka's picturesque hill country to Nuwara Eliya, passing rolling tea plantations, mist-covered mountains, and cascading waterfalls. Visit a traditional tea plantation and factory to learn about the production of world-famous Ceylon Tea before exploring the charming colonial town.

Day 3: Explore the Sacred Ramayana Sites

Spend the day visiting some of the most significant landmarks along Sri Lanka's Ramayana Trail. Explore the revered Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple in Ramboda, Gayathri Peedam, Seetha Amman Temple, and Divurumpola, where Sita is believed to have undergone the Agni Pariksha. Each site offers a deeper connection to the legendary epic and its enduring spiritual significance.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya – Kataragama

Travel towards Kataragama, stopping at the beautiful Hakgala Botanical Gardens, believed to be part of the legendary Ashok Vatika where Sita was kept captive. Continue to the sacred Kataragama Temple, one of Sri Lanka's most important pilgrimage destinations, revered by followers of multiple faiths.

Day 5: Kataragama – Galle – Colombo

Journey along Sri Lanka's scenic southern coastline, passing legendary Ramayana sites including Dondra, Seenigama, and Rumassala, believed to be linked to Hanuman's search for the Sanjeevani herb. Continue to Colombo and visit Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, another important site connected to the Ramayana tradition, before exploring the city's cultural and commercial attractions.

Day 6: Departure
